A Message from Dr. Jeff Hardesty, Our Incoming Palouse Schools Superintendent

Palouse Staff, Students, Families, and Community,

I write to introduce myself as your incoming superintendent, a seasoned educator, and a proud
father and husband. This fall marks my 30th year in public education and my 11th year serving
as a superintendent. Almost all of this professional work has been in rural eastern Washington
districts, where schools sit at the center of community life.

My job is to support the people who work with students every day, to keep our work focused on
learning and readiness, and to help the Board and community set a clear direction for the district.

To start this conversation, I invite you to complete a short survey. Your feedback will help shape
a strategic planning process I intend to bring to the Board mid-winter. The survey will remain
