Board of Directors Vacancies – Policy 1114

The Board of Directors of Palouse School District #301 announces two vacancies on the school
board:

• Director District #3
• At-Large position

In accordance with Board Policy 1114 and applicable state law (including RCW 28A.343.370
and RCW 42.12.010), the remaining board members will fill these vacancies by appointment
after suitable public notice. Appointed members will serve until a successor is elected at the next
regular school board election.

Qualifications Applicants must be:

• United States citizens
• Registered voters
• Residents of the Palouse School District (and, for the District #3 vacancy, residents of
• Director District #3)

How to Apply Interested and qualified individuals are invited to submit a letter of interest and
any supporting materials (such as a brief résumé or statement of interest in serving on the board).

Applications must be received by September 18th , 4:00 p.m.

The Board will review applications and conduct interviews of candidates in an open public
meeting. Appointment will be made by roll-call vote of the Board.
