Tinker Tech Time at Garfield Elementary:  The Garfield School District has partnered with the Whitman County Library for the Tinker Tech program for grades 2-5.  Tinker Tech introduces elementary school students to beginning Robotics and Computer programing as well as other STEM activities.  The program runs once a month after school from 3:00-4:30 PM.  We currently have 20-30 elementary students involved in the program.  A special thanks to Nicole Kopp of the Whitman County Library and all of our staff, parent, and student volunteers who help support the program.

Reminder from the Food Service Department:  Your child’s meal balance can be found on Parent Access located on the Garfield-Palouse School District website.  You can access the website at www.garpal.net.  This is a handy way for parents to see their child’s purchase and payment information.  We hope the courtesy calls are helping to keep you informed of your students’ meal account balance.  The school is not allowed by the State Auditors Office to allow students to “charge” meals.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact your school’s office.  Garfield: 635-1331 Palouse: 878-1921
